Ratification to the town of Glasgow of their gift of spirituality thereof

Our sovereign lord and estates of parliament ordain a confirmation to be made to and in favour of the provost, bailies, council and community of the burgh of Glasgow, ratifying and approving a signature granted by his majesty to the same burgh, whereby his majesty gives, grants, mortifies and conveys to them and their successors for ever for the maintenance of a minister to serve the cure in place of the archbishop of Glasgow in the high church thereof, and for repairing and upholding of the fabric of the same, all and whole the teinds, both parsonage and vicarage, tack duties and teind duties whatsoever belonging to the spirituality of the archbishopric of Glasgow, and specially the teinds, great and small, parsonage and vicarage, of Glasgow lately united and annexed to the said archbishopric, together with the teinds, parsonage and vicarage, of the kirks of [...] and others at length contained therein, together with the charter and infeftment to follow thereupon in the whole heads, articles, clauses and conditions thereof; and declares the same as sufficient as if the same writs were at length and word for word inserted herein, concerning which his majesty, with consent of the said estates, dispenses, and wills and declares that the foresaid gift and mortification above-written shall be a sufficient and valid right to the said provost, bailies, council and community of the said burgh of Glasgow for possessing and enjoying of the teinds above-written and others mentioned therein in all time coming.
