Ordinance regarding the Highlands and broken men
The which day the commission regarding the repressing of the broken men and for levying of a company of 120 men for keeping of the north peaceable and free of the broken Highlanders, being this day moved to his majesty and estates of parliament, his majesty and estates foresaid remit the same to the secret council to be considered and concluded by them, with this declaration: that whatsoever the council shall conclude and enact therein shall have the authority, force and validity of an act of parliament.
