Warrant for Master John Guthrie's liberty

The which day the supplication given in to the parliament by Master John Guthrie, late pretended bishop of Moray, desiring to be put to liberty out of the tolbooth of Edinburgh where he remains incarcerated, being read in audience of his majesty and estates of parliament, his majesty and estates foresaid ordain the said Master John Guthrie, supplicant, to be put to liberty out of the said tolbooth of Edinburgh where he presently remains, and for this effect give warrant to the provost and bailies of Edinburgh for putting of the supplicant to liberty out of their said wardhouse, with provision he do not return to the diocese of Moray.
