Warrant for Colonel [John] Cochrane's enlargement

The which day the supplication presented to the parliament by Colonel Cochrane, craving to be liberated out of the wardhouse of the tolbooth of Edinburgh, being read in audience of the king's majesty and estates of parliament, his majesty and estates foresaid ordain the supplicant to be liberated from the tolbooth and wardhouse of Edinburgh where he is presently incarcerated, and to be sequestered in John Smith [of Grotehill's] house in Edinburgh, according to the first order of the house of parliament, and ordain none to have access to him there except a servant to attend him.
