Procedure: king's letter to Queen Christina of Sweden approved and subscribed
Regarding the letter by the king's majesty and parliament to the Queen of Sweden and regents thereof
The which day a letter in Latin from his majesty to Queen [Christina] of Sweden and regents thereof, desiring that they would proceed slowly in a treaty of peace with the emperor until his majesty sends an ambassador, being publicly read in parliament in audience of his majesty and estates thereof, was uniformly approved by the whole estates and subscribed by his majesty in face of parliament and by [John Elphinstone, lord Balmerino], president of parliament.
