Act and warrant for publishing and printing the acts in June 1640
Our sovereign lord and estates of parliament grant warrant and command to the clerks of parliament to publish the acts of the session of this parliament 11 June 1640, in the name of our sovereign lord, with consent of the estates of parliament, according to the model set down in the first article of the treaty; and also that the said clerks, after publishing of the acts foresaid, cause print the same, to which this shall be a sufficient warrant, superscribed by the king's majesty, and subscribed by [John Elphinstone, lord Balmerino], president of the parliament, this 31 August 1641.
