Procedure: the treaty superscribed
His majesty superscribing the treaty
The which day his majesty, in face of parliament, did publicly superscribe the treaty which is subscribed by the commissioners. And also [Sir Patrick Hepburn of] Waughton, [Sir William Douglas of Cavers], sheriff of Teviotdale, John Smith and Hugh Kennedy likewise subscribed the same treaty in face of parliament.
