Act and declaration by the king in favour of the members of parliament
The which day the king's majesty was graciously pleased to declare, and for his highness and his successors declares, that hereafter he will not commit any member of the house of parliament without their advice for any misdemeanour in time of parliament; and therefore his majesty and estates of parliament statute and ordain that no member of the house of parliament shall be committed for any misdemeanour in time of parliament without the advice of the estates of parliament in time coming.
