Warrant: to Colonel Lindsay
Warrant to Colonel Lindsay to substitute any in his place in the castle for supply thereof during his sickness
It being represented to the estates of parliament that Colonel Lindsay is sick for the present and thereby withheld from the discharge of his place of constable of the castle of Edinburgh and from the attendance incumbent thereto, the estates of parliament for supply hereof permit and give liberty to him to substitute any in his place whom he will trust and for whom he will be answerable.
