The rolls called and prayers said.
Procedure: regarding Master John Stewart's trial
[Alexander Elphinstone], lord Elphinstone desired he might be liberated of being assizer to [Sir William Elphinstone], justice, in Master John Stewart's criminal process in respect he is within degrees, defending to [Archibald Campbell], earl of Argyll, pursuer of the process.
The estates adjoin those four formerly nominated to the justice or any three of them, which number they appoint to be a quorum, and ordain the same to be subjoined to the former ordinance and deliverance.
