[Supplication remitted to commission for manufactories; supplication refused; complaint by the Earl of Argyll against Sir Donald Gorme continued]
The lords remit the supplication above presented by Edward Spencer to the commission for manufactories after hearing of the parties, namely: the supplicant and the shoemakers of Edinburgh.
Supplication by the town of Burntisland, craving the prices of boat hire set down in an article formerly allowed may be augmented in some particulars, read and refused, and the act ordained to stand.
Regarding the complaint presented by [Archibald Campbell], earl of Argyll against Sir Donald Gorme and others and oftentimes discussed before the articles, the parties being present and their advocates heard; and Sir Donald being questioned upon certain interrogators, the Earl of Argyll desired before the proceedings begin that the complainers who give in the complaint against him may be urged to verify the same, whom appoints to answer tomorrow.

Ratification to the town of Dumbarton of the decreet of double poinding given by the lords of session between them and the town of Renfrew, delivered to Patrick Bell for Glasgow to see, together with the decreet of double poinding.
Act ratifying the act of parliament regarding mortifications made in favour of colleges and hospitals, delivered to John Smith [of Grotehill] to see for the town of Edinburgh.
