[Act for abolition of episcopacy ordered to be extended]

The act rescinding the acts introduced in favour of episcopacy and for the civil power of churchmen ordained in articles to be extended; also for rescinding the said acts in so far as thereby any civil power is conferred upon abbots or priors as churchmen, and they to be discharged of all civil power and of riding and voting in parliament, as churchmen or in name of the church, without prejudice always of all rights granted by any archbishops, bishops, prelates, abbots or priors to any of the lieges.
