Procedure: continuation of parliament
The lords commissioners of parliament above-named continue this present parliament, with all summons, actions, petitions and other matters belonging thereto, to 30 August instant, with continuation of days, to be held then at Edinburgh or where it shall happen his majesty and his highness's privy council to appoint by their proclamation, and ordain all the estates of parliament and others, his highness's lieges, to attend thereupon the said day and place under the pains contained in the acts of parliament made relating thereto. Whereupon, and upon the fencing of the said parliament, [Sir Thomas Hope of Craighall], our said sovereign lord's advocate, in his highness's name, asked acts and instruments.
