Procedure: burgh commissioners' appearance before the privy council; continuation

The which day the commissioners for the burghs compearing personally before the lords of privy council, and being demanded if they were resolved to give their answer regarding the fishing and the places craved to be reserved for the use of the natives, they declared that they were not yet resolved therein. Therefore the said lords ordained them to convene amongst themselves and to advise regarding such places as they crave to be reserved for the fishing of the natives and without the which the country cannot subsist, and to report their answer relating thereto to the said lords at Perth upon 21 September 1631.
