Ratificatioun to Maister Thomas Hope of Craighall off his infeftment off Arnedye

Oure soverane lord and estaitis of parliament ratiefies and apprevis the chartour and infeftment grauntit be umquhile George, archebischope of Sanctandros and chaptour thairof, to Johnne Weymis of Monturpie, in lyfrent, and Maister Johnne Weymis of Craigtoun, his sone, than commissioner of Sanctandrois and now ane of the senatouris of the colledge of justice, in fie, off all and haill the landis off Arnedie, with the pertinentis, to be haldin of the said archbischope and his successouris be service of waird and releiff, contening ane taxt waird and mariage, viz: payand for the waird thrie pundis money and for the mariage quhene the samene sould vaike ane hundereth merkis money, quhilk infeftment is of the date the last day off September, j^M vj^C and threttene yeiris; togidder with ane uther chartour and infeftment of the saidis landis of Arnydie and of the landis callit the kirklandis of Seres, landis of Kinkell and Snadoun and office of bailliarie of the provestrie of Kirkheuche maid be Johnne, now archebischope of Sanctandros and chaptour thairoff, upoune the resignatioune thairoff maid be the said Johnne Weymis and of the said Maister Johnne Weymis, his sone, to Maister Thomas Hope of Craighall, advocat, in lyfrent, and Johnne Hope, his sone, in fie, and to the aires maill to be gottin of his body, quhilkis failyeing, to the said Maister Thomas, his airis maill and assignayis quhatsumevir, to be haldin of the said archebischope and his successouris in maner specifit in the said infeftment, quhilk is of the dait the nyntene day of Julii, j^M vj^C and nyntene yeiris, with the preceptis of sesing thairincontenit and instrumentis of sesing following thairupoune, togidder with the chartour of confirmatioun grauntit be his majestie under the gryit seill conferming the chartour and infeftment immediatlie abovespecifit, quhilk chartour of confirmatioun is of the dait the tuentie tua day of Merche, j^M vj^C tuentie ane yeiris, in the haill heidis, articlis, clauses and conditiounes thairof, eftir the forme and tennour off the samyne in all poyntis. And willis and grauntis that this present ratificatioun salbe als valide and effectuall as gif the saidis chartouris, infeftmentis and utheris foirsaidis wer per expressum and worde be worde insert in this present act.
