Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent off the estaittis of parliament, ratiefies, apprevis and for his hienes and his successoures perpetuallie confermes the chartour and infeftment grantit be his majestie, with consent of his hienes thesaurer, comptrollar, collectour generall and thesaurer of the new augmentatiounes of the kingdome of Scotland and remanent lordis commissioneris under his hienes gryit seale to his lovit Schir George Forrester of Corstorphin, knycht, his aires maill and assignais thairin designit of all and haill the landis and baronye off Corstorphin, comprehending thairin the particular landis and utheris mentionat in the said chartour, with advocatioun, donatioun and right off patronage of the provestrie, prebendaries and chaplanrie off the colledge kirk of Corstorphin lyand within the schirefdome of Edinburgh, proceiding upoun the said Schir George, his awin resignatioun; be vertew of the quhilk infeftment, his majestie, with advyse abovewrittin, hes dissolvit the paroche kirk of Corstorphine, personage and viccarage thairoff, with manse, gleib, teyndis, fructis and rentis of the samene, quhilk wes of auld ane of the proper kirkes of the abbacie of Halierudhous, fra the samene abbacie and benefice thairoff, and hes create and erectit the samene in ane severall and distinct personage and viccarage callit the personage off Corstorphin, quhilk paroche kirk wes demittit and resignit in the handis of the saidis lordis commissioneris be Schir Johnne Spottiswode, eldest lauchfull sone to ane reverend father in God, Jhonne, archebischope off Sanctandros and undouttit abote and commendater of Halierudhous, to the effect above writtin; as also his maist excellent majestie hes dissolvit the foure prebendaries of the said colledge kirk off Corstorphine callit Halff Dalmahoye and Halff Haltoun, Halff Bonytoun and Halff Plat, teyndis, gryit and small, and fruittis thairoff, fra the said colledge kirk of Corstorphin, and hes unite and annexit the samene four prebendaries with the teyndis thairoff to the said paroche kirk of Corstorphin, reservand ane certane soume of money to be payit be the ministeris of Corstorphin furth of the fructis of the saidis prebendaries yeirlie to the actuell minister at Ratho, the right of presentatioun, donatioun and advocatioune off the quhilkis four prebendaries pertenit be the auld fundatioun to the saidis Archebischope of Sanctandros and Schir George Forrester, thair predicessoures and successouris alternatis vicibus, and wer lyikwayes resignit in the handis of the saidis lordis commissioneris be the saidis Jhonne, archebischope of Sanctandros and Schir George Forrester to the effect above mentionat. And siclyik, his maist excellent majestie, be the said chartour, hes unite, annexit and incorporat the advocatioun, donatioun and right off patronage of the said paroche kirk of Corstorphine, personage and viccarage thairoff, to the foirsaid baronie of the samene, and hes made and constitute the said Schir George, his aires maill and successoures undouttit and irrevocable patrones of the said paroche kirk of Corstorphine, personage and viccarage thairoff, and prebendaries foirsaidis annexit thairto, as in the said chartour off the date at Halierudhous, the penult day of Julii, the yeir of God jM vjC and auchtene yeiris, at mair lenth is conteaned, togidder with the procutories and instrumentis off resignatioun quhairupone the said infeftment proceidit, with the instrument of seasing following thairupoun, in all and sindrie heiddis, articles and clauses mentionat thairintill. Lyik as his maist excellent majestie, with consent abovewrittin, willes, grantis and declairis that this present ratieficatioun is and salbe als suffcient to the said Schir George and his foirsaidis siclyik as gif the said chartour, procutories and instrumentis of resignatioune wer heirin speciallie exprest, dispensing thairanent be thir presentis; prowyding that thir presentis prejudge not the present prebendares during thair lyvetymes.
