Ratificatione in favouris of Maister Alexander Gibsone, laird of Durye

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of parliament, for gude and sene causes and off certane knawledge, ratifies, approvis and perpetuallie confermes the chartour maid be umquhile George, archebischope of Sanctandrois, to umquhile Maister George Lauder of Bass and his aires, off all and haill the landis of Scony, Monflowrie, Bambeith, Threipland, Levin, porte and heavin of Levin, and of the toun and burgh of baronie of Levin, customes and dewties belanging thairto, mylnes, milnelandis, multouris and fischeingis off the water of Levin, and off the uther liberties, priviledgis and donatiounes mentionat in the said chartour and disponit to the said Maister George Lauder and his aires heretablie, to be haldin of the said umquhile archebischope and his successoures efter the forme and maner of halding and for payment off the particular taxt dewties and utheris speciallie expressit in the said chartouris, as the samene off the date the fourt of Julii 1608 at lenth proportis, with oure soverane lordis confirmatioune off the said chartour of the date the sextene day of October, j^M vj^C and nyne; and als the chartour and heretable dispositioune of the saidis landis and utheris foirsaidis, and of the landis of Balgrummo and astrictit multouris off the landis of Inverlevin, and of certane utheris liberties, priviledges and concessiounes mentionat in the said chartour maid and grantit to Maister Alexander Gibsoun of Durie and his aires be ane reverend father in God, Jhonne, now archbischope of Sanctandros, to be siclyik haldin off him and his successsouris archebischopes of Sanctandros for payment of the taxt dewties and utheris dewties specifit in the said chartour, quhilk is of the date the nynt day off Apryill, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and nyntene yeiris, according to the forme and tennour thairoff in all poyntes; and oure soverane lordis chartour and confirmatioun of the chartouris abovewrittin conteaning thairin also the new donatiounes, ratieficatiounes and heretable dispositioun grantit² to the said Maister Alexander Gibsoun and his aires off the landis, teyndis, liberties and uther donatiounes specifit at lenth in his hienes chartour and confirmatioune foirsaid, quhilk is of the date the nynt day off Marche, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and tuentie yeiris; and siclyik ratiefies and apprevis the tack and rightis of the viccarage teyndis off the parochin of Sconye, now standing in the persoun of the said Maister Alexander Gibsoun, with the decreit and sentence of prorogatioun off the said tack, at mair lenthe mentionat in his hienes chartour of confirmatioune abovewrittin and according to the tennour and contentis off the samene; and also the chartour maid to the said Maister Alexander Gibsoun off the landis and baronie of Durie and landis of Donyface, unite and annexit thairto, with the haill rychtes and liberties thairin contenit according to the tennour and halding thairin mentionat off the date the nyntene day off August, the yeir of God j^M vj^C and auchtene yeiris, in all the poyntis, articles, clauses and heiddis of the foirsaidis evidentis and wreatis, and everie ane of thame, and according to the tennour of the haldingis and contentis of the samene in all thingis. And willis and declaires this present ratieficatioun to be of als gude force and effect and als sufficient in all respectis as gif the haill tennouris of the saidis chartouris, confirmatiounes, tackis, decreit and utheris evidentis and wreatis abovespecifit wer at lenth worde be worde ingrossit heirin, and quhilkis ar haldin as particularlie heir repeittit and expressit. And oure soverane lord and estaittis findes, decernis and declaires the foirsaidis chartouris, confirmatiounes, donatiounes, dispositiounes, tackis and rightis of teyndis and utheris wreatis and evidentis before rehersit, with the infeftmentis, seasingis and uther securities following and depending thairupoun, to be guid, valide and sufficient rightis and tytillis to the said Maister Alexander Gibsone, his aires and successouris for bruiking and injoying of the saidis landis, baronye, milnes, multouris, fischeingis, teyndis and all the liberties and priviledgis and immunities and utheris donatiounes quhatsumevir contenit in the foirsaidis evidentis and wreatis conforme to the tennour and contentis of the same, and everie ane of thame respective in all poyntes, but dirogatioun now and in all tyme cuming.
