Ratification in favoures of the Lord Spynie

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament ratiefies and apprevis the infeftment made and grantit be his majestie under his hienes gryit seall to his hienes right traist cousing Alexander, lord Spynie, his aires maill and assignais quhatsumevir heretablie off all and sindrie the landis and toun of Ballysak, with the maner place, fortalice, housis, biggingis, yairdis, orcheartis, doucate and the tua corne milnes of the samen landis, togidder with the multouris and sequellis of the saidis milnes and uther pairtis, pendicles, outseatis and pertinentis of the saidis landis and milnes respective; all and sindrie the landis of Braidfuttisgardine, with housis, biggingis, yairdis, outseittis and pertinentis of the samene quhatsumevir, with tennentis, tenandries, service of frie tennentis and fewfermes of the saidis landis respective and all thair partis and pertinentis; all and haill the mure adjacent to the saidis landis or besyid the samyne now callit Lindsayes Mure and of auld commonlie callit Douglas Mure and pertinentis of the samene; as also the advocatioun, donatioun and right of patronage of the chaplanrie of Quhyitfeild, with all landis, mansiounes, housis, biggingis, yairdis, teyndis, annuelrentis, proffittes, casualities, priviledgis and utheris dewties pertening or belanging or that ar knawin to partene and belong to the foirsaid chaplanrie of Quhyitfeild and right of patronage thairof; all and sindrie the landis of Murehous, with housis, biggingis, toftis, croftis, pairtis and pertinentis of the samene; all and sindrie the landis of Burnesyid, with housis, biggingis, pairtis, pendicles and pertinentis of the samene lyand within the baronie of Reidcastell, Coghoillis, als Inverkelour, and within the schirefdome of Forfar; and als the advocatioun, donatioune and richt of patronage off all and sindrie the paroche kirkis and benefices underwrittin, to wit: of the deanrie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Aulderne and Narne; of the chantorie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Alves and Langbryid; of the thesaurarie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Kinedwart and Essill; of the chancelarie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Kirkmichell, Inverrawin, Knokando, Urquhart and Gleynmoristoun; of the archedenerie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Forres and Edinkelyie; of the subdenrie of Murray, comprehending the kirk of Dolles and viccarage of Aulderne; off the subchantorie of Murray, comprehending the kirkis of Raffort and Ardclaich; and off the paroche kirkis, personages and viccarages of Bonoche, Abirloure, Skeirdustane, Advye, Cromdell, Dippill, Ruthven, Inverkeithnye, Lundichtie, Moye, Spynie, Kingusie, Croye and Moye, Uthill, Unthank callit the chaplanrie of Duffus, Bolleskin, Kynnoir, Dumbennan, Botarie, Elchis, Glassessie, Kincardin and Duffus, and siclyik of the kirkis off Alter Alloway, Braaven, Farneway, Lagane, Abirnethie, Edincailyie and Birney, and off all and haill the personages and viccarages of the haill kirkis abovewrittin lyand within the schirefdomes of Elgene, Forres, Narne, Invernes [...] respective, togidder with all and sindrie priviledgis, liberties and commodities pertening or that may be knawin to pertene be the law and consuetude of this realme to the said advocatioun, donatioun and right of patronage of the kirkes abovementionat, personages and viccarages thairoff, all unite, create and incorporat in ane haill and frie lordschip callit the lordschip and baronye of Spynie, to be haldin of his majestie and his successoures in frie blenche, fee heretage, free lordschip and frie barony for evir for the yeirlie payment of the blanche dewtie thairin specifit, off the date the [...] day off [...], with the precept and instrument of seasing following, or to follow thairupoun, in all poyntes, heiddis, articles and clauses thairin contenit efter the formes and tennouris thairoff; and declaris and ordains this present ratificatioun and confirmatioun of the saidis infeftmentis, precept and instrument of seasing following thairupoun to be als valide, effectuall and sufficient in all respectis as gif the samen infeftment, precept and instrument of sesing following thairupoun wer at lenth and worde be worde insert and ingrossit heirintill; quhairanent his majestie and estaittis foirsaidis dispensses for evir. And farder, oure said soverane lord and estaittis abovewrittin declaris, statutes and ordanis that the exceptione of the infeftment maid and grantit be his majestie under his hienes gryit seale to umquhile Alexander, lord Spynie, father to the said Alexander, now lord Spynie, of the patronages of the benefices and kirkes abovementionat fra the act of parliament maid in the moneth of Junii, j^M v^C fourscoir threttene yearis, intitulat 'Anent infeftmantis gevin be his majestie with new right of patronages', togidder with the foirsaid infeftment grantit be his majestie to the said Alexander, lord Spynie off the advocatione, donatioun and right of patronage off the kirkis and benefices abovewrittin to be als valide, effectuall and sufficient rightis and securities to the said Alexander, lord Spynie and his foirsaidis for bruiking and joising of the heritable right of patronage of the kirkis and benefices abovementionat as gif the samen infeftmentis respective had bene maid and grantit to the said Alexander, lord Spynie and his said umquhile father be his majestie, with consent of the titularis of the saidis benefices and kirkis and of the bischope and cheptour of the cathedrall kirk of Murray for the tyme, nochtwithstanding the act of parliament frome quhilk his majestie and estaittis hes exceptit and exceptis the said infeftment grantit be his majestie to the said Alexander, now lord of Spynie, of the kirkis and benefices abovespecifiet.
