Ratificatioun to the Laird of Dundas of the patronage of the kirk of Levingstoun

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament, having sene and considerit the infeftment maid be his majestie under his hienes great seill, of the dait the first day of Junii, the yeir of God ane thowsand sex hundreth and nyne yeris, to his trustie and weilbelovit subject Schir Walter Dundas of that Ilk, knicht, his airis maill and of tailyie mentionat thairin heritablie, off all and haill that pece of land callit the Freris Croft of the Quenis Ferrie, proceding upoun the resignatioun of Robert Dundas, sonne to umquhile George Dundas of that Ilk, and als of the dissolutioun and suppressing of the paroche kirk of Levingstoun and parochin thairof lyand within the schirefdome of Linlithgow, quhilk pertenit of before to the abbacie of Halyrudehous, fra the said abbacie, and erecting of the samyn in ane rectorie or personage and annexatioun of the same to the foirsaid croft, with the gift and dispositioun contenit in the foirsaid infeftment of the advocatioun, donatioun and richt of patronage of the foirsaid rectorie or personage to the said Schir Walter and his airis maill foirsaidis heritable; and being rypelie avisit thairwith, his hienes and estaittis foirsaidis hes ratifeit and approvin and, be thir presentis, ratifies and apprevis the foirsaid infeftment, with the precept and saising following thairupoun, in the haill heidis, clauses, articles, circumstances and conditionis contenit thairin and haill contentis thairof; and willis and declaris thir presentis to be als effectuall in all respectis as gif the samyn war ad longum de verbo in verbum insert heirintill, decerning and ordaning the samyn to be gude, valide and sufficient richtis and titillis to the said Schir Walter, his airis maill and of tailyie thairin specifeit, for bruiking, joising and possessing of the foirsaidis landis, and of the said advocatioun, donatioun and richt of patronage of the foirsaid paroche kirk of Levingstoun, rectorie and personage thairof, in all tyme cuming efter the forme and tennoure of the foirsaid infeftment and saising in all pointis, notwithstanding of quhatsomevir act, law or statute maid or to be maid in the contrar.
