Ratificatioun in favours of the officiars of the cunyehouse

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament ratifies, approvis and, for his majestie and his successours, perpetualie confirmis all and quhatsomevir letters and giftis of exemptioun, liberties, fredomes, privileges and immunities maid and grantit be his hienes maist noble progenitours of worthie memorie and his hienes self at ony tyme bygane, to and in favours of his hienes generall maister cunyeoure, wardane, counter wardane, sincker, esseyer, prenters, forgers, melters and utheris members of his hienes cunyehous of Scotland, and specialie ane letter of exemptioun and privilege maid and grantit be oure soverane lord and lordis of his hienes privie counsale to and in favours of the haill officiars and members of his majesties cunyehous foirsaid, of the dait at Quhitehall, the fyftene day of November, the yeir of God ane thowsand sex hundreth and foure yeris, makand mentioun thairin of thre severall giftis of exemptionis, quhairof ane is maid and grantit be his hienes umquhile derrest guidschir King James the Fyft, king of Scotland of happie memorie, daitit the twentye thre day of Octaber, and of his hienes reignne the threttie yeir; and lykwyse of twa uther severall giftis of exemptiones maid and grantit be his hienes self under the privie seill, the ane thairof of the dait the twentye fyve day of Junii, ane thowsand fyve hundreth thre scoir nynetene yeris, and the uther of the dait the twentye twa of Aprile the yeir of God ane thowsand fyve hundreth foure scoir foure yeris, in maner at lenth specifeit in the said severall and last giftis, in all and sindrie heidis, clauses, articles, pointis and circumstances quhatsumevir contenit in the saidis giftis and ilkane of thame, with all that hes followit or may follow thairupoun for evir. Attoure, oure said soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament, for his majestie and his successours, willis and grantis and perpetualie decernis and ordanis that this present ratificatioun is and salbe in all tyme cuming als valide, effectuall and sufficient to the saidis haill officiars and members of his hienes cunyehous foirsaid present and to cum and thair successours for the peciable bruiking and joysing of the privileges, liberties and immunities mentionat in the saidis giftis, as gif the samyn giftis and ilkane of thame respective war heirin word be word specialie and particularlie incorporat and insert, dispensand thairwith for evir.
