2Act anent salvo jure cujuslibet

Forsamekle as in this present sessioun of parliament thair is mony ratificationis past wheirin divers and new clauses ar insert whilk may be preudiciall to perticular pairteis richtis and dirogative to mony and sindrie lawes lauchfullie maid and establissit of befoir, albeit the meaning of the estaitis be at this tyme, as it wes evir in all preceiding perliamentis, that by na act of ratificatioun ony uther pairtie sould be hurte or prejudgeit; for remede quhairof, it is statute and ordanit that na ratificatioun past in this sessioun of parliament shall be prejudiciall to ony privat pairteis richt, bot that the saidis ratificatiounis be alwayes understude, quhidder the samyn be generall or speciall, to be salvo jure cuiuslibet.
