2Ratificatioun of the infeftment of the Byres to the lord advocatt

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of parliament, understanding that upoun the alienatioun and dispositioun and resignatioun maid be Johne, lord Lyndsay of the Byres, of all and sindrie the landis and baronie of the Byres, the landis of Coildrow, the maynis of Drem, Dremhill, Coittis, Myddilthrid, Coitakeris within Drem, Samyngis, Murtoun, Mungouswallis, Garmylstoun and Harvestoun, with thair castellis, touris, fortalices, orchardis, yairdis, doucattis and pertinentis lyand within the constabularie of Hadingtoun and schirefdome of Edinburgh, with the advocatioun, donatioun and richt of patronage of the kirk of Hadingtoun, personage and vicarage thairof, and chaplanrie of the lady chapell of Drem, to and in favouris of Schir Thomas Hammyltoun of Bynnie, knycht, advocat to oure soverane lord, and his airis and assignais specefeit in the said resignatioun, that the said Schir Thomas Hammyltoun of Bynnie, knycht, his airis and assignais ar heretablie infeft and seasit in all and sindrie the foirsaidis landis, baronies, advocatioun and donatioun of benefices and utheris abone specefeit, with thair pertinentis, as in the infeftment under the great seall maid to him thairupoun, the sext day of Junii instant 1609, schawin and producit in parliament at mair lenth is contenit; and thairfoir oure said soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament ratifeis and appreves the foirsaid infeftment gevin to the said Schir Thomas Hammyltoun of Bynnie, knycht, and to his airis of the landis, baroneis, donatioun of benefices and utheris foirsaidis, in all and sindrie heidis, clauses and pointis contenit thairintill, eftir the forme and tennoure thairof in all pointis, the quhilk ratificatioun the saidis estaittis declaris to be als valide and sufficient to the said Schir Thomas Hammyltoun and to his foirsaidis as gif the said infeftment wer word be word per expressum insert in this present act.
