Act in favouris of the quennis majestie anent the ratificatioun of hir infeftment of Dunfermeling
11. Oure soverane lord, with advyse and consent of the estaittis of this present parliament, ratefeis, apprevis and, for his majestie and his successouris, perpetualie confermis the infeftment maid and grantit be his majestie to his hienes darrest spous Anna, be the grace of God, now quene of Great Britane, France and Irland, and to the airis lauchfullie gottin or to be gottin betuix his majestie and his hienes darrest spous foirsaid, quhilkis failyeing (as God forbid) to his hienes airis and successouris whatsumevir to the crowne of the kingdome of Scotland, off all and haill the monasterie and abbacie of Dunfermeling lyand on baith the sydis of the watter of Forth, contening all and sindrie the landis, lordschippis, baroneis, mylnis, woddis, fischeingis, mansionis, maner places, kirkis, teyndis, kirk landis, tennentis, tennandreis, service of frie tennentis, yairdis, orchardis, fewmaillis, fermes, caynis, customes, annualrentis and utheris particularlie and generalie contenit in the said infeftment proceding upoun the resignatioun of Henrie Pitcarne of that Ilk, as commendatar of the said abbacie of Dunfermeling for the tyme, with consent of the convent thairof in maner and to the effect mentionat in the samyn infeftment, whilkis ar thairby united, erected and incorporat in ane haill and frie temporall lordschip to be callit in all tyme cummyng the lordschip of Dunfermeling, to be haldin of oure soverane lord and his successouris in frie blensche, fre heretage and frie lordschip for evir, for the yeirlie payment of the sowme of sex schillingis aucht penneis money of this realme of Scotland yearlie at the feist of Witsonday in name of blenche ferme, gif it beis askit, alanerlie, lyk as at mair lenth is contenit in the said infeftment under his hienes great seall of the date at Lynlithgw, the sevint day of Marche the yeir of God jM vC fourscoir threttene yeiris, and of his hienes regne the tuentie sevint year, with the precept and instrument of seasing following thairupoun, in all and sindrie pointtis, pases, heidis, articlis, clauses, circumstances and conditiounes whatsumevir thairin contenit, eftir the formes and tennouris thairof, willing and granting and for his majestie and his successouris, with advyse fairsaid, decerning and ordaning that this present confirmatioun is and sall be als valiable, effectuall and sufficient in all respectis as gif the samyn infeftment, chartour, precept and instrument of seasing wer at lenth ingrossit heirintill.
