Ratificatioun in favouris of Maister Alexander Gibsoun of his infeftment of Grantoun

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of parliament presentlie convenit hes ratefeit, approvin and confermit and, be the tennour of this present act, ratifeis, appreves and confermis the chartour, confirmatioun and dispositioun thairin contenit maid and grantit be his hienes, with consent of his majesteis counsaillouris and officiaris, subscryveris thairof, to Maister Alexander Gibsoun, ane of the clerkis of sessioun, and Margaret Craig, his spous, and thair airis and utheris thairin contenit, off all and haill they landis of Grantoun quhilkis wer disponit to him be Maisteris David Ayttoun and Johne Russell, advocattis of befoir, as in the wryttis and securiteis maid to him thairupoun and in oure said soverane lordis infeftment of the date the first day of August, the yeir of God jM vjC thrie yeiris, at mair lenth is contenit; and decernis, declairis and ordinis the said chartour, confirmatioun and dispositioun thairin mentionat to be gude, valiable and sufficient to the said Maister Alexander and his foirsaidis now and in all tyme cumming, in all and everie heid, point, article and clause thairin expressit; quhilk and haill contentis thairof, oure soverane lord and estaittis foirsaidis hes allowit and ratefeit, and specialie that pairt thairof anent the disponing of the samyn landis in taxt waird to the said Maister Alexander and his foirsaidis in maner particularly thairin expressit, quhilk clause and dispositioun and remanent haill clauses and pointis of the said chartour decernis and declairis to be valide and effectuall to the said Maister Alexander and his foirsaidis for the peciable bruiking and possessing of the saidis landis as belanging to him and them heretablie, and on nawayes to be trublit thairin or to be querrellit in his richt thairof be ony maner of occasioun bigane or throw ony defaulte or eilest, be the quhilk the richt or possessioun of the saidis landis may be challangeit, or the said Maister Alexander or his foirsaidis trublit thairin be ony privilege, titill or richt competent to oure soverane lord and belanging to his hienes or quhatsumevir uther persone rysing upoun quhatsumevir richt, titill or ground, bigane, present or tocum; with the quhilkis and all utheris oure soverane lord and estaittis foirsaidis hes dispensit and, be the tennour heirof, dispenses for now and evir, granting thir presentis to be als effectuall and sufficient in all respectis as gif the tennour2 of the said chartour and dispositioun wer insert and ingrossit word be word in this present act.
