2Erectioun of the abbacie of Scone in ane temporall lordschip in favouris of David, lord of Scone

Oure soverane lord and estaittis of this present parliament, considering the gude, trew and thankfull services monywayes done to his hienes be David, lord of Scone, his grace comptroller, and for uther great, ressonable, proffitable and sene causes nochtourlie knawin be the saidis estaittis, hes dissolvit and, be the tennour of this present act, dissolvis frome his hienes crowne and patrimonie thairof and frome all annexationis maid thairto of befoir, and als frome the abbacie of Scone and patrimonie of the samin simpliciter and for evir, all and sindrie the landis, baroneis, mansionis, manerplaces, yairdis, orchardis, mylnis, multuris, woddis, parkis, fischeingis, loches, iles, inches, hauchis, medowis, muris, mossis, coillis, coilheuches, annualrentis and utheris quhatsumevir of the temporalitie of the abbacie of Scone, with pairtis, pendiclis and pertinentis, tennentis, tenandreis and service of frie tennentis, superiouriteis, yeirlie fewfermes, caynis, customes and dueteis thairof, teynd pennies, jurisdictioun, privileges and immuniteis of the samin, and als all and sindrie the kirkis, chaplanreis and alterages of the said abbacie with all teyndscheves, utheris teyndis, fruittis and rentis belanging to the said abbacie and monasterie of Scone, alsweill to the spiritualitie as temporalitie thairof, and monkis portiounes of the samin, or wer possessit be the abbottis and commendataris thairof respective for the tyme as thair propirtie or patrimonie of the samin, baith tua pairt and thrid pairt thairof, and quhilkis thaireftir pertenit to oure said soverane lord be vertue of quhatsumevir actis of annexatioun, speciall or generall, be ressone of foirfaltrie or quhatsumevir uther maner of way. And the saidis esaittis declairis it sall be lesum to oure said soverane lord to annalie, gif, grant and dispone the samin to the said David, lord of Scone and to his airis maill lauchfullie gottin, or to be gottin, of his bodie, quhilkis falyeing to Andro Murray of Balvaird and his airis maile lauchfullie gottin, or to be gottin, of his bodie, heretablie, and for the erectioun of the samin to thame in ane haill and frie temporall lordschip and baronie callit, and to be callit in all tyme cumming, the lordschip and baronie of Scone, to be haldin of his hienes and his successouris in frie heretage, frie lordschip and baronie for evir for the yeirlie payment to his hienes thairfoir of ane thowsand pundis usuale money of Scotland at the terme of Witsonday in name of blenche ferme alanerlie. And thairwith the ministeris of all and sindrie parochkirkis of the said abbacie being provydit of ressonable yeirlie stipendis and rentis to be payit to thame furth of the teyndis, fruittis and dueteis of the saidis kirkis respective, and alsua to have the manses and gleibis pertening thairto, conforme to the actis of parliament maid thairanent, togidder with the small teyndis of the vicarages of the samin kirkis for thair sustentationis, and to that effect oure said soverane lord and estaittis foirsaidis dissolvis, suppresses and abolisches the foirsaid abbey and monasterie of Scone, memorie and name thairof, with the haill ordouris, institutionis and fundationis of the samin simpliciter and for evir, reserveand and exceptand alwayes furth of this present act and erectioun foirsaid all regaliteis and all privileges thairof possessit be the abbottis and titularis of Scone of befoir, to remane with oure soverane lord and his hienes successouris and thair crowne inseparablie in all tyme heireftir.
