The quhilk day, in presens of the kingis majestie and estaittis in parliament, comperit personalie Williame, erle of Angus, George, erle of Huntly, for himself and as brother sone, cheif and ane of the narrest of kyn to umquhile Schir Patrik Gordoun of Auchindoun, knycht, and Francis, erle of Arroll, and producit ane summondis of reductioun rasit at thair instance aganis Walter, commendatar of Blantyre, thesaurar and comptroller to oure soverane lord, Maister Thomas Hammyltoun of Drumcarne, his hienes advocat for his hienes interes, Maister Johne Skene, clerk of registrie, Maisteris Williame Scott, Archibald Gibsoun and Alexander Hay, his deputtis keiparis and havearis of the proces of foirfaltrie led aganis thame, and all utheris haveand or pretendand to have interes in the said actioun of reductioun, tuiching the productioun befoir oure soverane lord and the saidis estaittis of perliament off the proces and dome of foirfaltour led and deducit aganis the saidis erlis and the said umquhile Schir Patrik Gordoun upoun the aucht day of Junii the yeir of God jM vC fourscoir fourtene yeiris. And als producit James Hairstanis, messinger, executour of the said sumondis and haill charges thairof, and David Young and George Cuninghame, witneses insert in all the saidis executionis; quhilkis messinger and witneses, being all thrie sworne, verefeit all the executionis of the said summondis to be trew and of veritie, quhairupoun the saidis thrie erlis, being personalie present, askit instrumentis.
