Ratificatioun to the clerk of register and Maister Johnne Hay, his sone

Oure soverane lord and estaitis of this present perliament ratifies, apprevis and for his hienes and his successoris perpetuallie confirmes the chartouris and infeftmentis efter specifiit maid, gevin and grantit be his hienes or be the uther personis undirwrittin, ather to his weilbelovit clerk and counsellor, Alexander Hay of Eister Kennet, clerk of register, or to Maister Johnne Hay, his eldest sone, ane of the clerkis of counsaill, and to the personis thairin and efter mentionat off the landis, annuelrentis, teyndschaves and utheris respective undirwrittin thairin specifiit, viz: ane of the saidis charteris maid and grantit be his hienes to the said Maister Johnne Hay, his aris maill and assignais quhatsumevir heretablie off all and haill the place and ground quhairupoun the chapell of the preceptorie of Sanct Anthonis stude and wes biggit, with the kirk yard, mansionis, houses, bigingis, chalmeris, yardis and orcheardis of the samyn and haill pertinentis thairof; as also of all and sindre the landis, tenementis, annualrentis, teyndschaves and utheris teyndis, fruittis, [...] particularlie thairin and under specifiit, firmes, tennentis, tennandrie and service of frie tennentis thairof, with the haill pertinentis of the same, and all uthairris commodities quhilkis justlie pertenis to the said preceptorie and patrimonie thairof, or quhilkis the preceptoris of the same in ony tyme bygane bruikit or possest, as the said charter of the dait at Dalkeith the xxviij day of Merche j^M v^C lxxxxj yeris at mair lenth beris. Ane uthair chartour of fewferme maid, gevin and grantit be Frances, sumtyme² in perliament, with consent of dyvers personis thairin specifiit at quhais instance he was interdytit, to the said Alexander Hay of Eister Kennet and Marioun Farquhar, his spous, the langest levair of thame tua, for all the dayis of thair lyftymes, and to the said Maister Johnne and his aris maill quhatsumevir, off all and haill the landis of Tillimad and Bullerisbuchane, with the craigis and fischingis of the same and haill pertinentis thairof, lyand in the lordschip of Slanis and schirefdome of Abirdene, off the dait at Striviling, the ferd day of November the yeir of God j^M v^C fourscoir fyve yeiris, with the charter of confirmatioun thairof of the dait at Edinburgh, the xxvij day of August the yeir of God j^M v^C fourscoir tuell yeiris; togidder with ane uther chartour maid be his hienes, with avise of his majesties thesaurair and comptroller, to the said Maister Johnne Hay and Maroun Drummond, his spous, and langest levair of thame tua, in conjunctfie and thair aris maill and of tailyie thairin specifiit, off all and haill the landis of Eister Kennet, with tennentis, tennandrie, service of frie tennentis, with the haill pertinentis thairof lyand contigue togidder within the schirefdome of Clakmannan; as also of all and sindre the akaris, croftis, landis, annuelrentis and superiorities respective undirwrittin, with the pertinentis and utheris thairin specifiit, as the samyn of the dait at Haliruidhous, the tuentie sevint day of December j^M v^C fourscoir threttene yeris beris, notwithstanding quhatsumevir oure said soverane lordis revocatioun, act or constitutioun maid heirtofoir or in this present perliament under the quhilkis the saidis charteris and infeftmentis sall nevir be comprehendit, bot the samyn to be guid, valide and sufficient to the said Maister Johnne and utheris thairin mentionat for bruiking of the landis and utheris thairin contenit. Lyk as his hienes renuncis all actioun and instance competent to his majestie for impugning and quarrelling of the same or ony of thame, cum pacto de non petendo, and with supplement of all faltis, alsueill not namit as namit, quhilk his hienes and estaitis foirsaidis wilhave as for expressit in the said act and to be als sufficient as the same wer insert and incorporat in this present act.
