Anent the parochin or² Inverkip and kirk of Grenock

Oure soverane lord and estaitis of this present parliament ratifies and apprevis the act maid in the perliament haldin at Edinburgh, the fyft day of Junii the yeir of God j^M v^C fourscoir tuell yeiris anent the erectioun of the paroche kirk of Grenok, laitlie bigit be Johnne Schaw of Grenok, in all pointis, heidis, circumstances thairof as in the said act at mair lenth is contenit; and to the effect that the same may be put to better executioun and tak full effect, oure said soverane lord and estaitis of this present perliament hes dissolvit and devydit and be thir presentis dissolvis and devydis the personage and vicarage of Inverkip in tua severall prochynnis, personages and vicarages, the ane thairof to retene the name of the personage and vicarage of Inverkip, and the uther to be callit in all tyme cuming the personage and vicarage of Grenok; and the haill teyndis, fruittis, rentis, proffittis and emolumentis of the landis of Grenok, Fynert and Spangok, with thair pertinentis, quhilk wer accustumat ofbefoir, to be pait to the personis and vicaris of Inverkip and now ar designit to the boundis of the said new erectit kirk and prochin of Grenok, conforme to the said act of perliament, to apertene to the said personage and vicarage of Grenok, but prejudice alwayes of the patronis richt or³ presentatioun to present the personis or vicaris of baith the saidis perochynnis quhen the samyn salhappin to vaik, and the said personage and vicarage of Grenok to be gevin to the ministeris serving the cure at the said kirk thairof, and the said personage and vicarage of Inverkip to be gevin to the ministeris serving the cure at the same; and als decernis and ordanis that the same divisioun tak effect betuix the saidis tua ministeris of Inverkip and Grenok for the croip and yeir of God j^M v^C fourscoir threttene yeiris, and for this instant croip and yeir of God j^M v^C fourscoir fourtene yeiris, and siclyk in all tyme cuming salvo jure cujuslibet.
