Anent the kirk of Carraill

Oure soverane lord and his estaitis in parliament hes ratifiet and apprevit and be the tennour heirof ratifies and apprevis the dissolutioun of the paroche kirk of Carraill, personage and vicarage thairof, fra the abbey and monasterie of Hadingtoun and the divisioun of the fruittis thairof in thre pertis and pertionis: the first pairt to the minister that sall serve the cure at the said paroche kirk of Carreall, quha salbe callit the persone thairof; the secund pairt of the fruittis of the said kirk annext to the new college, callit the pedagog situat within the citie of Sanctandrois, for sustentatioun within the said college of certane bursaris, studentis of theologie; and the thrid pert of the saidis fruittis annexit to the college newlie foundit within the burgh of Edinburgh for sustening within the samyn of certane bursaris, studentis of philosophie, as at mair lenth is contenit in the said dissolutioun and annexatioun. In the quhilk it is speciallie provydit that James, lord Lindsay is constitute heretable patrone of the said personage and bursaries, lyk as at mair lenth is contenit in oure soverane lordis charter exped under his greit seill thairupoun. And forder, oure said soverane lord and his saidis estaitis of new dissolvis the said paroche kirk of Carraill, haill fruittis of the same, personage and vicarage thairof fra the said abbey of Hadingtoun for evir and hes ordanit and ordanis the haill fruittis, proffittis and emolumentis thairof to be devydit in maner abone rehersit, as is perticularlie contenit in the said chartour; quhilk chartour his hienes and estaitis ordanis to be insert and registrat in the buikis of perliament, gif neid beis, to remane ad futuram rei memoriam.
