Oure soverane lord and estaitis of this present perliament statutis and ordanis that in tyme cuming it sall not be lesum to ony lordis of sessioun, ordiner or extraordiner, advocattis, clerkis, writtaris, thair servandis or ony uther member of the college of justice, or ony inferiour jugementis within this realme, thair depuittis, clerkis or advocattis, directlie or indirectlie be thame selffis or ony utheris in thair names to thair behuif or utilitie, to by ony landis, teyndis, rowmes or posesionis quhilkis ar dependand in contraversie or questioun betuix ony perties, or hes bene dependand and not as yit decydit, quhilkis gif thai or ony of thame do and contravenis the premissis, the saidis lordis of sessioun, advocattis, clerkis, writtaris, thair servandis or ony uther member of the college of justice or ony inferior jugementis within this realme, thair depuittis, clerkis and advocattis sall amit and tyne thair office, place and all privilegies and immunities bruikit or that may be bruikit be thame be verteu thairof.
