Ratificatioun to George Sinclar of May

²Oure soverane lord, now eftir his aige of xxv yeiris, with avise of the estaitis of this realme, ratifies, apprevis and, for his majestie and his successouris, perpetuallie confermis the charter and infeftment maid and grantit be his majestie efter his aige foirsaid to his majesties lovit George Sincler of May, his aris and assignais quhatsumevir, off all and sindrie the landis, baronies, offices, advocationis, donationis and richtis of patronages of the personages and vicarages of the kirkis and utheris presentlie undirwrittin, specefiit in the said infeftment under the greit seill off the dait at Haliruidhous, the xviij day of December, the yeir of God j^M v^C lxxxxj yeiris last bypast, past be vertew of the resignatioun maid be the said George in his hienes handis, in all and sindrie pointis, pasis, articles and clausis, immunities, privilegeis, liberties and circumstances quhatsumevir thairin contenit; and decernis and declaris for his majestie and his successouris foirsaidis that the samyn infeftment is, and salbe in all tyme cuming, effectuall, guid, valide and sufficient to the said George Sinclair, his aris and assignais foirsaidis for the peceable bruiking and joysing of the foirsaidis landis, baronies and utheris efter mentionat contenit in the said infeftment, with all liberties, privilegies specefiit in the same, perpetuallie and in all tymes cuming according to the tennour and substance thairof in all pointis, notwithstanding his majesties revocatioun maid in this present parliament in ony tyme heirtofoir, or ony utheris his hienes actis, statutis or constitutionis, generall or speciall, maid to the prejudice or dirogatioun thairoff, or ony the liberties or privilegeis exprest in the same, under the quhilk the said infeftment, nor na pairt thairof, sall nevir be comprehendit be na maner of way; and als notwithstanding quhatsumevir uther infeftmentis or secuirities maid and grantit be his majestie, or ony uther persone or personis of the saidis landis, baronies or utheris abone and efter specefiit or ony pairt thairof, in hurt and prejudice of the said George Sincler, his aris and assignais thairanent; quhilkis his majestie, with avise foirsaid, for his hienes and his successouris, expreslie revoikis, casis and annullis be the tennour of thir presentis, and decernis and declaris the samyn to have bene fra the beginning and to be in all tyme cuming null and of nane availl, force nor effect as gif the same had nevir bene maid.
