Ratificatioun to Johnne Andro, clerk of the secreit counsaill
2The kingis majestie, efter his hienes lauchtfull and perfite aige of xxv yeris compleit, with avise of his estaitis of this present parliament, ratifies, apprevis and confermis be thir presentiz the lettres of gift of ane yeirlie pensioun of tua hundreth merkis disponit to his dalie servitour Johnne Andro, writtar, and assignit to be payit to him out of the reddiest of the silver males of the fischingis of the abbacie of Kinloss in all and sindrie pointis, articles and clausis expressit in the said gift; and attour, for his better securitie, of new gevis and disponis to him the foirsaid sowme in pensioun to him during all the dayis of his lyftyme, with power to him, be him self and his servitouris in his name, to crave, ressave and intromett thairwith and, gif neid be, to call and persew the persoun or personis quhilkis hes bene accustumat or that ar addettit for payment of the samyne as accordis, nochtwithstanding ony his hienes revocationis maid in the contrair, quhilkis his majestie, with advise of the saidis estaitis, declaris sall nawayis hurt, prejuge nor annull the effect and tennour of thir presentis and lettres of gift past to him in maner abonewrittin.
