Ratificatioun to Johnne Hume of Slegden

²Oure soverane lord and estaitis of parliament hes ratifiet and apprevit and, be thir presentis, oure said soverane lord, for his hienes and his successouris, ratifies, apprevis and perpetuallie confermis the charter and infeftment grantit be oure said soverane lord to his hienes lovit Johnne Hume of Slegden, his aris and assignais, off the heretable gift off all and haill the landis callit Eister and Wester Plewlandis, with thair pertinentis, lyand within the schiredome of Beruik, with the seasing and all that hes followit thairupoun, in all and sindrie pointis, clausis, articles and conditionis thairof; and decernis and declaris that the samyne infeftment salbe a full richt to the said Johnne and his foirsaidis for bruiking and joysing of the saidis landis conforme to the tennour thairof.
