³Oure soverane lord, efter his lauchfull and perfite aige of tuentie fyve yeiris compleit, with avise of his estaitis in this present parliament, ratifies, apprevis and confermis the lettres of gift maid, gevin and grantit be his hienes, with avise and consent of his trustie and weilbelovit counsellouris, Schir Johnne Maitland of Thirlestane, knicht, chancellair, Thomas, maistir of Glammis, thesaurair, Schir Lues Bellenden of Auchnoule, knicht, justice clerk, Schir Robert Melvill of Murdocarny, knicht, thesaurair depute, and Maistir Robert Douglas, provest of Lincluden, collectour generall and thesaurair of the new augmentationis, to his dalie servitour, Andro Melvill of Garvok, his majesties maistir houshald, during all the dayis of his lyftyme, off all and haill ane yeirlie pensioun of all and sindre the few males and annuelrentis of the temporall landis of the abbacie of Corsraguell pertening to his hienes be vertew of the act of annexatioun of temporall and kirklandis to the croun, extending yeirlie to the sowme of four hundreth markis monie of this realme, salvo justo calculo, togidder with aucht chalderis aittis yeirlie to be uptakin furth of the thrid of the auld assumptioun of the aittis off the bischoiprik of Sanctandrois at the termes of payment usit and wont in all and sindre pointis, articles and clausis thairof; decerning and ordaning that the said gift is nocht, nor sall nocht, be comprehendit in ony his bypast revocationis or to cum, bot speciallie exceptit and reservit furth of the same.
