Commissioun to considder the lawis of this present and the last parliamentis
2Forsamekle as thair is divers gude lawes, actis and statuitis maid in this present parliament and in the last parliament haldin at Linlithgw in the moneth of December, the yeir of God jM vC fourscoir fyve yeiris, quhilkis necessarlie wald be imprentit, that the effect thairof the better cum to the knawlege of the haill lieges, thairfoir, oure soverane lord, with avise of the thrie estaittis, gevis and grantis full power, commissioun and auctorite to his hienes chancellair, thesaurair, advocat, justice clerk, clerk of register, James Meldrum of Segy, Maister Johnne Lyndesay, persone of Menmuir, Maister David Chalmer, chancellair of Ross, Maisteris Johnne Scharpe, Thomas Craig and Johnne Skene, advocattis, or ony thrie of thame, the chancellair alwayes being ane, to visite and considder the haill lawes, actis and statuitis maid in the tua last parliamentis and how many of thame necessarlie wald be imprentit, that, according to thair advise and declaratioun, the clerk of register may gif furth an extract and copie to the prentare, with sic guidlie diligence as may be used.
