And siclyk oure said soverane lord and his thre estaittis in parliament ratifies, apprevis and, for him and his successouris, perpetuallie confermis the utheris giftis and dispostionis quhatsumever maid to the said maistir Peter for all the dayes of his lyvetym be umquhile James Boyd, archiebischop of Glasgw, off all and haill ane yeirlie pensioun of tua hundreth pundis money foirsaid, to be yeirlie upliftit furth of the tua part of the said archiebischoprik, for thankfull pament thairof thair is assignit to the said Maistir Peter the deweties of the kirk of Drymmen extending to jC ij lib. xiij s. iiij d., and for the remanent thairof, certane temporall landis of the said archiebischoprik specialie mentionat in the said gift, quhilk wes confirmit be oure said soverane lord befoir be his lettres under his privie seill. As als oure said soverane lord and his saidis thre estaitis in parliament ratifies and apprevis the gift and dispositioun maid be umquhile Robert, erle of Merche, commendatair of the priorie of Sanctandrois for the tyme, ratifiet, apprevit and renewit be Lodovick, duke of Lennox, erle Dernelie, lord Tarbowtoun, Methven and Obegnie, now commendater of the said priorie, to the said Maistir Peter, Eliot Gib, his spous, James and Harie Youngis, thair sonis, and the langest levare of thame foure, of sevin chalderis beir and thre chalderis quheit, to be upliftit and takin furth of certane places, rowmes and landis pertening to the said priorie and specialie mentionat in the said gift, as the samin at mair lenth proportis. And likwyse oure said soverane lord and his saidis thre estaitis of this present parliament ratifies and apprevis the gift and constitutioun of the said Maistir Peter, his hienes maistir elimosinare, for all the dayes of his lyvetyme with the fie thairin contenit, and furder, oure said soverane lord, with avise of his saidis thre estaittis, now in his perfite aige, gevis, grantis and disponis to the said maistir Peter, his said spous and thair foirsaidis respective, all and sindrie the foirsaidis pensionis and giftis, with all richt, clame, title and entres that his hienes and his successouris may pretend thairto, with the said gift of the office of elimosinarie and fie thairin contenit, and will and grantis that the samin giftis, pensionis and fies nor nane of thame ar, or salbe, comprehendit under his hienes generall revocatioun, bot that the samin is, and salbe, [comprehendit under his hienes generall revocatioun, bot that the samin is, and salbe,]4 specialie exceptit thairfra, to the quhilk generalitie this speciale act sall mak and makis speciall derogatioun. As alsua oure said soverane lord, with avise of his saidis thre estaittis, will and grantis and, for him and his successouris, decernis and ordanis that all and sindrie the foirsaidis pensionis, gift of elimosinarie and fie thairin contenit salbe yeirlie payit to the said Peter and his said spous, his bairnis and uthers foirsaidis respective during thair lyftymes siclyk and alsfrely as thai have bene payit in tymebipast, and that notwithstanding the generall annexatioun of the kirklandis to the croun or ony assumptioun for oure soverane lordis thrid of ony of the landis and rowmes quhairof the said Maistir Peter and his foirsaidis hes bene in possessioun of befoir, and als that the generall restitutioun of all personis foirfaltit and convict of barratrie sall gif na rycht nor title to James Betoun, archiebischop of Glasgw, to querrell the said Maistir Peter nor his foirsaidis in the saidis pensionis quhilkis thai have to be upliftit furth of the said archiebischoprik, the effect of the quhilkis restitutionis sall nawyse extend to the pensionis foirsaidis, bot the samin irrevocablie sall stand in full force and strenth, and the archiebischop, quha may pretend richt be vertew of the said restitutioun, sall nawayes brouk the benefeit thairof, except he ratifie, appreve and renew the richt of the said pensionis to the said Maistir Peter and his foirsaidis in sic forme and ordour as the said Maistir Peter sall think expedient. And further, oure said soverane lord and his saidis thre estaittis in parliament, of thair certane knawlege, ratifiis and apprevis the alteratioun and change of the assumptioun of the landis of Eister Seytoun and half of Dikmounthlaw, liand within the regalitie and baronie of Abirbrothok and sherefdome of Forfair, now pertening heretablie to the said Maistir Peter and assumit of auld in a part of the thrid of the abbacie of Abirbrothok, becaus his hienes hes ressavit als mony als proffitable landis in recompance thairof, as at mair lenth is specifiit in the decreit gevin thairupoun be the lordis auditouris of his hienes chekker off the dait at Edinburgh, the xxiij day of Februar, the yeir of God jM vC fourescoir sex yeiris, quhilk decreit oure said soverane lord, with avise of the saidis thre estaittis in parliament, ordanis to stand in full strenth and force in all tym cuming.
