Ratificatioun to the erle of Angus of the erldome of Mortoun

2Oure soverane lord and his thre estaittis of parliament ratifeis and apprevis the lettres grantit under his grite seill to his richt traist cousing and counsallour, Archebald, erle of Angus, lord Dowglas and Abirnethy etc., makand him haillelie to succeid to umquhile James, erle of Mortoun, lord Dalkeyth, in his landis, heretage, rowmes and possessionis, as the saidis lettres at mair lenth proportis, quhilkis his majestie, with avise of his saidis thre estaitis, ordanis to be insert in this present act gif neid beis.
