2Forsamekle as in divers parliamentis haldin be oure soverane lord and his maist noble progenitouris sindrie questionis hes bene amangis noble men and utheris of the estaitis for prioritie of places and voites in parliament, and thairupoun sumtymes querrelling, to the disturbance of the supreme court of parliament, quhilk aucht to proceid with greatest honour and quietnes, for remeid quhairof in tymes cuming, it is statute and ordanit be oure soverane lord, with avise of his thrie estaitis of this present parliament, that nane of his estaitis sall presume in tyme cuming to mak querrell or provocatioun of trouble to uther for prioritie of places or voitis in parliament utherwayis nor be supplicatioun, and content thame with the ordour and directioun of his hienes and his saidis estaitis ay and quhill thair finall decisioun of contraversie, under the pane to be repute and haldin as disturberis of the publict peax and quietnes of the realme and to be grevouslie punissit thairfoir at the discretioun of his hienes and lordis of the articles assemblit at that parliament.
