Ratificatioun of the landis of Pottie and Collenowis to David Murray
Oure soverane lord, with the advise and consent of the thrie estatis of this present parliament, hes ratefeit and apprevit and, be the tennour heirof, ratefeis and apprevis the gift and dispositioun maid to David Murray, brother germane to Schir Andro Murray of Arngosk, knyt, domestique servand to our soverane lord and ane of his hienes maister stablaris, of all and haill the landis of Potie and Colennoqueis, disponit to him heretablie, quhilkis fell and become in his hienes handis throw foirfalture and dome of parliament ordourlie led aganis Gawin Hammyltoun of Reploch, spous to Jane Dishingtoun, ane of the airis of Ardross, as the infeftmentis maid to him thairof proportis in all pointis, articles and clausis contenit thairin, efter the forme and tennour thairof; and decernis and declaris the samyn to have full strenth, force and effect in all tyme cumming to the effect that the samyn landis may remane heretablie with the said David in all tyme cumming, notwithstanding ony privilege, libertie or rehabilitatioun grantit to the said Gawin, or rycht maid be oure said soverane lord to him of the saidis landis sen the said foirfalture; and siclike our said soverane lord, with avise foirsaid, revokis, cassis and annullis all and quhatsumevir rycht maid to the said Gawin of the saidis landis, with all privilegeis grantit to him thairof sen his said foirfaltour and dait of the samyn Williame Murrayis infeftment foirsaid grantit to him thairof to the effect foirsaid.
