Pacificatioun to Marie Flemyng and hir bairnis

Oure soverane lord, with avise and consent of the thrie estatis of this present parliament, upoun guid and wechtie considerationis tending to the establissing of peax and quietnes and universall obedience of his hienes auctoritie within this realme, hes gevin and grantit to Marie Flemyng, relict of umquhill Williame Maitland, youngar, of Lethingtoun, secretare to our soverane lord, James Maitland, thair sone, and the remanent of the said umquhill Williamis bairnis, and ilk ane of thame, to have, bruik and injoy the same and like favour, grace and privilege and conditioun as is contenit in the pacificatioun maid and accordit upoun at Perthe, the xxiij day of Februare, the yeir of God jM vC lxxij yeris, and ratefeit and apprevit sensyne in parliament, as at mair lenth is contenit in the said pacificatioun; thairfoir, our said soverane lord, with avise and consent of his saidis thrie estatis, hes ratefeit and apprevit and, be the tennour heirof, ratefeis and apprevis the said pacificatioun maid and grantit to the said Marie, hir said sone and remanent personis in all pointis, efter the forme and tennour thairof, and declaris the same pacificatioun and ratificatioun thairof foirsaidis to be als largelie and favorablie extendit and observit to thame and ilk ane of tham in all respectis as gif the said umquhill William or that had bene speciallie comprehendit and namit thairin, and as gif the haill clausis, conditionis and articles thairof wer expreslie expressit and mentionat in thir presentis; and decernis and declaris the samyn to have full effect for saiftie of thame and ilk ane of thame in bodie, landis and guddis; and ordinis the lordis of counsell to direct lettres for repossessing of thame, according to the accustoumat use, in forme as effeiris.
