Ratificatioun of the benefite of pacificatioun grantit to the Lord Fleming

Oure soverane lord, with advise and consent of the thrie estatis of this present parliament, ratefeis, apprevis and confermis of new the act of parliament and benefite of pacificatioun grantit and gevin of befoir to Johne, now lord Flemyng, sone and air of umquhill Johne, lord Flemyng, that last decessit, of the dait at Edinburgh, the ellevint day of November the yeir of God jM vC lxxix yeris, in all pointis, pas, clausis and articles specefeit thairintill efter the forme and tennour thairof, exceptand that part of the foirsaid pacificatioun berand this provisioun: that the heretable dispositioun of the landis of Edmistoun to umquhile James, sumtyme erll of Mortoun, be not comprehendit under the foirsaid pacificatioun; quhilk claus our said soverane lord, with advise foirsaid, decernis and declaris to be secludit and not to be comprehendit in the said first act of pacificatioun abone expremit, siclike and in the samyn maner as gif the samyn wer left out thairof, sua that the said Johne, now lord Flemyng, may bruik and jois the saidis landis of Edmistoun, conforme to his predicessouris infeftmentis, and this present act and benefite of pacificatioun thairanentis for repossessing of him thairto, siclike and in the samyn maner as gif na provisioun nor exceptioun had bene maid in the said first act of ratificatioun concerning the saidis landis of Edmistoun, and as the said provisioun and exceptioun had not bene contenit in the said first act of the dait abonewrittin, and ordinis lettres to be direct heirupoun, gif neid beis, in forme as effeiris.
