Act in favouris of the Lord Boyd

Anent the supplicatioun gevin in to the kingis majestie and lordis of articles in this present parliament be Robert, lord Boyd, makand mentioun that quhair he hes bocht fra Gawin Hammyltoun of Reploch sen the pacificatioun maid and concludit at Perth, the xxiij day of Februar, the yeir of God j^M v^C lxxij yeiris, ratifiit and apprevit in parliament, sensyne he then being oure soverane lordis obedient subject, all and sindrie the landis and parkis undirwrittin bona fide, quhilkis wer sett in few of auld to the said Gawin be umquhile Gawin, commendatair of Kylwynning, as his infeftment and confirmatioun thairof proportis, of the daitis respective at Kylwynning, the xxvj day of Junii j^M v^C lix, the tent day of October j^M v^C lxvj, the xxvij day of September j^M v^C lxiij yeiris, viz., all and haill the wod callit the Innerwod and new park of Kylwynning, liand within the parochine and regalitie of Kylwynning and schirefdome of Air; the medow callit the Swandame Medow; the medow callit Deane Williame Woddis Medow; the medow callit the Rowne Medow; the medow callit Dalglen Medow; aucht aiker of land callit the Beirflatt; the waird callit Mekle Waird, alias Bogwaird; the medow callit the Prioris Medow and Personis Fauld; the medow callit Mekle Medow, als Braid Medow; and nyne aikeris of land callit Kilrig, als Oxinwaird; the myln callit Synacrie Myln, with four aikeris of land adjacent thairto and astrict multuris thairof usit and wount, and all and sindrie thair pertinentis, togither with the teyndis of all and sindrie the foirsaidis landis, with thair pertinentis, liand as said is; the nyntene schilling, four penny land of new extent of Quhyt Hirst; thrie schilling, sex penny land of auld extent of Ovir Quhyt Hirst; tuenty penny land of Brigend Eister; tuenty four schilling land of auld extent of Ovirhill of Bayth, with the teydis of the samin; tuenty schilling, foure penny land of new extent of Boigsyd, within the parochyne of Bayth and regalitie foirsaid, with the teyndis of the samin; twa schilling, aucht penny land of the saidis landis of Boigsyde of auld extent; aucht schilling, foure penny land of the samin landis; ellevin schilling, aucht penny land of the saidis landis of Boigsyd of new extent; foure schilling, tua penny land of the landis foirsaidis, liand in the parochyne of Kylwinning, regalitie and schrefdomes foirsaidis; and becaus the said Gawin is to be forfaltit in this present parliament for certane crymes of tressone and lesemajestie commitit be him, quhilk, be ressone of the lait act of parliament anent the dispositionis maid or to be maid be ony maner of persone or personis convictit, or that heirefter salhappyne to be convictit of tressone, will prejuge the infeftmentis and richtis acquirit be the said Lord Boyd of the foirsaidis landis and parkis, quha lelalie and trewly servit oure said soverane lord at sindrie places and now laitlie at Hammyltoun and abaid at his majesties obedience, notwithstanding that the samin landis ar cost be the said lord bona fide as said is without oure soverane lord and lordis of articles provide remeid; beseikand thairfoir oure said soverane lord and lordis of articles, in consideratioun of the premises, to declair, decerne and ordane that the infeftmentis and richtis acquirit be the said lord of the foirsaidis landis and medowis may stand in effect and to be sufficient and valide in the self, notwithstanding ony proces of forfaltour led or to be led aganis the said Gawin, actis, lawis or statutis maid or to be maid in the contrair; and that the said lord may have ane act of parliament thairupoun according to justice, as at mair lenth is contenit in the said supplicatioun. Quhilk being sene and considerit be the kingis majestie and thrie estaitis of this present parliament, they declair, decernis and ordanis that the foirsaidis infeftmentis and richtis acquirit be the said Robert, lord Boyd of the foirsaidis landis, mlyn and medowis sall stand in effect and be sufficient and valide in the self, notwithstanding ony proces of forfaltour led or to be led aganis the said Gawin Hammyltoun, sumtyme of Reploch, actis, lawis or statutis maid or to be maid in the contrair.
