Ratificatioun of the privilegis of burrowis, cap. 19

²Oure soverane lord and thrie estaitis of this present parliament ratifeis and apprevis all and sindrie privilegis, liberties, immuniteis and fredomes and actis of parliament maid and grantit in the tyme of quhatsumevir his majesteis maist noble progenitouris in ony tyme bigane in favouris of the burrowis and burgesis thairof, and decernis and declaris all and sindrie the saidis actis and constitutionis to have full strenth and effect in all tymes heirefter, and that the samyne be putt to full and dew executioun in all poyntis efter the forme and tennour thairof, and to stand as ane perpetuall law to the saidis burrowis and burgesis and thair successouris in all tyme cuming; and the lordis of counsale and sessioun to gif and direct sic lettres at the supplicatioun of the provestis aldermen and baillies of burrowis as ar aggreable with the saidis lawis and actis of parliament in all poyntis.
