Approbatioun of giftis of benefices and pensiounes sen the moneth of August 1560 yeiris, grantit and gevin be our soverane lordis mother

Item, it is fund, declairit, statute and ordanit be our soverane lord, my lord regentis grace and thre estatis of this present parliament that all giftis and provisiounis of benefices elective, pensiounis or utheris quhatsumever, gevin and disponit under previe seill and greit seill be the quenis grace, our soverane lordis mother, in hir regne sen the parliament haldin in the yeir of God 1560 yeiris unto the coronatioun of our said soverane lord, war, ar and in all tyme cuming salbe to the possessouris, be vertew thairof, lauchful, ful and perfyte tytillis and rychtis, and als vailyeabill in all respectis, quhair ever thay be producit, as gif the saidis provisiounis and giftis had past upon supplicatiounis direct to the court of Rome and bullis past thairupon in maist ampil forme, provyding that this present act be not prejudiciall to the act of secreit counsell grantit in favouris of the ministeris anent the geving to thame of all benefices within yeirlie rent of thre hundreth markis sen the dait of the said act, nor yit be prejudiciall to lawit patronageis.
