2Protestation for John Murray regarding Tyninghame

Master Thomas Nicolson, elder, advocate, procurator for John Murray of Lochmaben, groom of his majesty's bed chamber, protested that whatsoever certification is granted to [George Seton], earl of Winton of the bailiary and justiciary of the lands lying south of the Forth, pertaining to the archbishopric of St Andrews, that the same shall in no way prejudice the said John and his infeftment he has of [John Spottiswood], archbishop of St Andrews of the heritable bailiary of the lordship of Tyninghame and fees and casualties thereof.
