Ratification to Patrick Hume of Polwarth and Patrick Murray

Our sovereign lord, mindful of the true and thankful service done to his highness by Patrick Murray and Patrick Hume, apparent heir of Polwarth, his grace's servants, with advice of the estates of this present parliament, ratifies and approves the gift of pension given to them to be taken out of the thirds of the priory of St Andrews in all the heads, clauses and articles thereof, and ordains the same to be effectual notwithstanding of whatsoever his highness's revocations, ratifications, gifts or dispositions made to whatsoever other person or persons either in this present parliament or otherwise.
