Act in favour of Master William Melville regarding Kilwinning

Our sovereign lord and estates of this present parliament ratify and approve the gift of liferent granted by his majesty since his perfect age in the parliament held at Edinburgh, 1592 of the temporal lands of the abbacy of Kilwinning during all the days of his lifetime in all and sundry points, articles and clauses thereof, notwithstanding of any act or law made in this present parliament or otherwise that may tend to the derogation of the same.
