That the temporal lands annexed to the crown shall remain therewith, and that they shall be retoured2

Our sovereign lord and estates of this present parliament declare and ordain that all feu lands annexed to his majesty's crown by the act of annexation remain with his majesty and crown in all time hereafter, and that all feu lands annexed or other feu lands whatsoever within this realm be retoured and valued to merk or pound lands, that his majesty may know the owner thereof; and being retoured, that when it shall happen any impost or taxation to be raised, that the said feuars shall be charged according to their retour.
