2The which day, in presence of the king's majesty and three estates of parliament, compeared personally Robert [Keith], commendator of Deer and there, in name and behalf of [...] Abernethy, brother to the Lord Saltoun, protested solemnly that the benefit of pacification and restitution granted generally to all persons forfeited should in no way hurt or prejudice the said [...] Abernethy, his sister's son, concerning whatsoever right or title obtained by him or his predecessors of the lands and living of Lessendrum, but that the same rights and titles may stand in full effect in time coming, notwithstanding the act of ratification of the pacification, restitution and abolition passed generally in this present parliament; and thereupon asked acts and instruments.
