Ratification granted to Master William Baillie, lord Provand

Our sovereign lord and three estates of this present parliament ratify and approve the letter of tack and assedation made by [Henry Stewart, lord Darnley], our sovereign lord's late dearest father, and [Mary], dearest mother, to Master William Baillie, lord Provand, president of the college of justice, his heirs and assignees, of all and whole the third of the parsonage of Glasgow, as well teind sheaves thereof as other fruits and emoluments belonging thereto, and specially the teind sheaves of all and whole the lands of Provand, with the continents, lying within the barony of Glasgow and sheriffdom of Lanark, for the yearly payment and duty thereof of the sum of £88 18s money of this realm, according to the said letter of tack in all points, of the date 28 January 1565 [1566], with the two several confirmations granted by our sovereign lord thereupon, the one of the date the [...] day of [...], the year of God 15[...] years, and the other of the date the [...] day of [...], the year of God 15[...] years, together also with the new nineteen year tack set by Master Archibald Douglas, late parson of the said parsonage, to the said Master William, his heirs and assignees, of all and whole the third of the said parsonage, in the which are comprehended the teind sheaves of the lands of Provand, being the patrimony of his own benefice, and also the teinds of the lands of Over Carntoun, Nether Carntoun, Kendie Hill, Haghill, Dalbeath and middle quarter of Shettleston, with their pertinents, whereof the said Master William has been in use and possession by reason of his former tacks in all points, clauses and articles contained therein, of the date the [...] day of [...], the year of God 15[...] years, and decree and declare the said Master William to use and enjoy the third of the said parsonage, with the teind sheaves particularly above-written, according to his said rights and titles respectively above-specified during the years contained therein; and ordain letters to be directed hereupon, if need be, in the appropriate form.
